Napletsys is an innovative French company specialising in the development of high-precision plasma etching solutions, a key technology in the manufacture of quantum computer components. These innovative technologies, at the heart of the next IT revolution, will pave the way for capabilities to process massive volumes of data and model complex phenomena in fields such as health, chemistry, finance, defence and energy transition. They will also enable problems that current supercomputers cannot process quickly to be solved in a matter of seconds.
A key element in the quantum value chain
Quantum computers rely on extremely delicate components, such as superconducting qubits, which require manufacturing at the atomic scale. It is precisely at this key stage that we intervene, using advanced plasma etching equipment. We enable the creation of quantum structures on substrates with unrivalled precision, purity and stability, meeting the most stringent requirements of the quantum industry.

A strategic technology to strengthen industrial and scientific independence
In April 2023, Napletsys strengthened its expertise with the acquisition of ACEMMI, a French company that has specialised in plasma etching services for over 20 years. This merger has expanded our capacity to work on a wide variety of plasma systems and tools.

A strategic technology to strengthen industrial and scientific independence
In a context of global competition around quantum technologies, mastering plasma etching for quantum components has become a major strategic issue for the industrial and scientific sovereignty of France and Europe.
That is why, as French experts in high-precision plasma engraving, we develop these solutions in Saint-Jeoire, a commune in Haute-Savoie, close to technology centres such as the city of Geneva in Switzerland and the Grenoble region. A centre in partnership with public laboratories, applied research centres and manufacturers in the quantum sector.
Its plasma etching solutions for the quantum industry are now recognised as key technological building blocks in the development of a competitive national and European quantum sector.
Napletsys, a company committed to deep tech
As a Deeptech player, our company is aligned with the objectives of the France 2030 plan and the European programme for quantum technologies. It invests in research, the development of new solutions and recruits experts specialising in the field. By participating in numerous collaborative projects, we are helping to advance quantum technologies and develop French industry, while maintaining a local presence.
